The M.Tech Mechanical Engineering specialty in Design Engineering concentrates on cutting-edge techniques and instruments for creative systems and product design. With the help of this program, students will gain extensive knowledge in advanced design theory, CAD and engineering graphics, and material selection, enabling them to produce innovative ideas. Important ideas include design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA), which guarantees economical production, and design optimization techniques, which improve performance and efficiency.
Students also work on designing and developing products, learning how to test and prototype their ideas. Students who complete this program will have the broad knowledge necessary to take on challenging design problems and take the lead in the engineering design industry.
